Marine technical support from Split for vessels across the Adriatic

UnLucky is based in Split and plans diagnostics, installation, service and refit work around the vessel location, technical scope and preparation required.

UNLUCKY · SPLIT

A local base with a project-led approach

Our Žrnovnica address is the contact and working base. Onboard work is planned around the vessel’s actual location, access, required equipment and safe working conditions.

WORKING AREA

How we define our service area

Coverage is not a promise of immediate attendance. We first review each enquiry so that a realistic scope and timing can be agreed.

01

Split and Dalmatia

Local service and diagnostic enquiries are coordinated from Split according to vessel location and access.

02

Croatia

Installations, refits and more complex work in Croatia are planned as projects after checking the system, equipment and logistics.

03

Adriatic projects

Work elsewhere in the Adriatic is assessed against technical scope, travel, parts availability and coordination on site.

04

Other locations

Work outside Croatia can be agreed when the project scope justifies travel, parts preparation and coordination on site.

TECHNICAL AREAS

The service is selected by system, not location alone

Before travelling, we try to establish what is installed, the symptom or intended outcome, and which checks and parts should be prepared.

Marine electronics
01

Marine electronics

A chartplotter, radar, AIS, autopilot and sensors may each be functional while still exchanging incomplete or incorrect data. We therefore assess the power supply, network, configuration and real use together.

Marine energy
02

Marine energy

A larger battery alone does not solve an energy shortfall. Bank capacity, peak loads, charging sources, protection and monitoring must work as one coordinated system.

Design your onboard energy system
Electric propulsion
03

Electric propulsion

Motor power is only one part of the decision. Hull, displacement, speed, running time, batteries, charging and mechanical installation determine whether a configuration fits the intended use.

Assess electric propulsion for your vessel
Diagnostics and refit
04

Diagnostics and refit

An intermittent voltage drop, false alarm or restarting device is often caused elsewhere in the system. A refit therefore begins by recording the existing installation and measuring it under real load.

Find the fault and plan the refit
Water and fuel systems
05

Water and fuel systems

Low water flow, frequent pump cycling or contaminated fuel are not solved simply by fitting a larger unit. The full fluid path, power supply, filtration and maintenance conditions must be assessed.

Check water, watermaker and fuel systems
Anchoring and hull protection
06

Anchoring and hull protection

Anchor, chain, gypsy, windlass and bow geometry must work together. Underwater-surface protection is a separate task governed by hull material, layout and actual operating conditions.

Match anchoring and underwater-surface protection

What to send so we can assess an on-site visit

We do not publish unverified response times, 24/7 availability or lists of marinas where work has not been confirmed. Location, timing and scope are agreed directly for each enquiry.

  1. 01The exact location, type, model and length of the vessel.
  2. 02Photos of equipment, installation, model labels and available space.
  3. 03A description of the symptom or intended result and checks already completed.
  4. 04Preferred timing and whether the vessel is afloat, berthed or ashore.

Send the vessel location and technical objective

Using the vessel and system details, we can suggest an inspection, remote pre-visit preparation, an on-site service visit or the next project step.
