Function
The GOF 3000 exclusive plus offers a maximum filtration capacity of 1,080 l/h (285 GPH), depending on the fuel line cross-section. It is suitable for tanks up to 6,000 litres (1,585 gallons) of diesel fuel; larger tanks can also be cleaned effectively by extending the operating time accordingly.
The system stands out for its extremely high water and dirt separation efficiency. The integrated water separator achieves water separation of over 99 %, while the ultrafine filter with a filtration fineness of 0.5 µm removes bacteria and contaminants from the fuel at a rate of over 99 %.
A digital timer allows a weekly schedule to be programmed or the filtration process to start automatically immediately after refuelling. Excessive vacuum in the system (for example due to dirty filter elements), a full water separator or system leaks (float switch in the drip tray) trigger automatic shutdown with an alarm. Information is shown on an external display, which can be flexibly installed at the helm or any other location.
The interaction of high-quality components from Marco s.p.a. fuel pumps and patented ultrafine filter elements creates targeted turbulence in the tank. This allows water and dirt particles to be picked up and filtered out much more effectively than during normal engine operation, when fuel is filtered only in the supply line while the engine is running.
Installation
Our fuel cleaning system is easy to retrofit. The cleaning cycle is controlled by electronically monitored valves so that several tanks can be cleaned with a single system.
Sophisticated programming monitors all safety-related functions and enables the user to control and supervise the system conveniently. This keeps the fuel consistently clean – even immediately after refuelling. Costly engine damage thus becomes a thing of the past.
The high-quality components are optimally matched to each other and individually adapted to each boat.
