Description
The SulMate 12 V 160 Ah sodium-ion battery combines engine starting with deep-cycle service use in a 12 V system. Its specified 1200 A CCA and 160 Ah capacity support selection for a vessel that needs both starting capability and a larger service reserve, after checking the actual loads.
The specified case dimensions are 329 × 172 × 235 mm (length × width × height), with a weight of 21 kg. Allow for the manufacturer’s tolerances of ±2 mm and ±3% respectively. SulMate specifies more than 3000 cycles depending on operating conditions. UnLucky provides a 10-year warranty.
An intelligent battery management system, an LCD and a USB-C connection are integrated. SulMate lists NMEA 2000 compatibility; the exact battery interface, data available and any required gateway must be confirmed for the chosen model and onboard network.
Before installation, check the charger, alternator, DC-DC charger and solar controller against the manufacturer’s charging requirements and BMS limits. Series or parallel connections require explicit approval for the exact model. For charter boats, motorhomes or off-grid projects, confirm the duty cycle, loads and system suitability before selecting a battery.
The manufacturer’s main specification lists 1200 A CCA, while the battery illustration on the full source card shows 800 A. Confirm the applicable starting-current rating and suitability for the engine before selecting this model.
