Extreme outdoor temperatures? No problem.

Arctic frost operation functionality
The system consists of two energy-efficient heating elements controlled fully automatically by the battery management system (BMS). The charging current can keep the cell temperature above freezing, allowing the battery to be used even at extreme outdoor temperatures down to -30 °C. This allows installation in an unheated part of the vehicle, such as the battery compartment.

Smart BMS
If the intelligent battery management system (BMS) detects that the battery is fully submerged, it immediately switches it off to protect the terminals and the battery. The battery can then simply be used again afterwards.

Advanced technology at its core
LIONTRON lithium iron phosphate batteries are considerably lighter than conventional lead-acid batteries. The lithium battery weighs only around 1/3 as much as a lead-acid battery. They also allow regular deep discharge. Thanks to their modular construction, all LIONTRON batteries are particularly environmentally friendly, as they can be opened to replace individual components when needed.

Bluetooth monitoring:
keep an eye on battery status at all times.

With integrated Bluetooth 4.0 monitoring, you can always see all important battery data on your smartphone or tablet. The new LIONTRON Multi App lets you monitor four batteries simultaneously (a battery bank with up to four batteries connected in parallel). The app displays the combined current state of charge, remaining capacity and charging/discharging power of all batteries. Clicking the battery icon displays further information about the individual battery.
