Description and specifications
Function
The GOF 1800 B exclusive has a maximum filtration capacity of 400 l/h – 105 GPH (depending on the fuel line cross-section) and is recommended for petrol tanks up to 2000 l – 530 gallons. This unit features extremely high water and dirt separation efficiency. Water separation efficiency > 98 %. Its 0.5 µm filtration fineness removes more than 98 percent of bacteria and contaminants from the fuel. A digital timer allows the filtration process to be programmed on a weekly schedule or started by a timer immediately after refuelling. Excessive vacuum in the system (a dirty filter element) or system leaks (float switch in the collection tray) trigger shutdown and an alarm. This is shown to the operator on an external display that can be installed at the helm or another location.
The interaction of “Bosch” fuel pumps and the patented “micfil ultrafeinfilter” fuel filter creates turbulence in the tank. Dirt particles and water are picked up and filtered out more effectively than during normal engine operation, when fuel is filtered only in the supply line while the engine is running. The system cleans the fuel in the tank on a set cycle, keeping the tank consistently clean and improving fuel supply reliability.
Installation
Our fuel cleaning system is easy to retrofit. It integrates into the existing fuel supply line between the engine and tank. The return line to the tank must be installed separately. Our electronically monitored 3-way valves control the cleaning cycle to create a separate circuit between tank and system. Our sophisticated programming monitors safety-related functions and enables the user to control and supervise the system. This keeps the fuel clean – even immediately after refuelling. Our high-quality components are optimally matched to each other and adapted to your boat. Costly engine damage becomes a thing of the past.
Important note:
