JOY 500

JOY 500 is our most powerful and advanced self-tailing cleat, engineered for superyachts over 30 meters (95+ ft) and up to 80 tons.
Unlike the rest of the JOY range, JOY 500 is built to order, requiring several weeks for manufacturing and assembly. Every unit is configured based on your vessel’s specifications—electrical system, deck layout, mooring line size, and installation constraints.

Made from AISI 316L stainless steel and equipped with a heavy-duty underdeck gearbox and motor, JOY 500 is designed to handle extreme loads with full control and safety. It supports line diameters from 35 to 44 mm and operates at industrial-grade torque and speed.

As with other JOY models, you can choose between a standard single footswitch, a premium single footswitch, or a premium double footswitch with electronic control box for bidirectional operation. However, due to the scale and power of this system, we’ll work closely with you to determine the best configuration.
